"Every single thing about our trip was perfect. The Seahome was beautiful the crew was clearly the best crew at sea! The smallest details to the biggest were taken care of along the way. There was plenty of space for our family to be together and to find relaxing space. The captain kept us well entertained... paddle boards, tubing, scuba, snorkel, cliff jumping, sunset sailing, hiking, playing at secluded beaches, dingy rides, hammock chairs, fishing. He took us to the most amazing places and gave us a sense of calm confidence that had all of us participating in all of the activities. The chef’s ability and dedication to creating magical ambiance for EACH meal (3x per day) was unreal. Chef... where to begin? From my morning to coffee to our evening meal his abilities are astounding! Not only is his food melt in your mouth delicious but his plating techniques are beyond impressive. I could not have been more impressed with the culinary experience. It was truly Michelin level. Absolutely perfect! The only bad part was leaving and the ugly cry I had."
We thought it was going to be cool to have someone prepare meals for us on this trip. We assumed it be a deckhand that knew some kitchen things. Never could we have expected the world class experience you gave us. Your food was beyond amazing, but you already know that. What you might not know is how awe-inspiring you are to all of us. The passion you have for your craft is generally reserved for the finest artists. You are one of those artists. Each meal was an experience and a show. Oh and the most delicious food we've ever consumed. Beyond that, you literally have changed all of our lives. The confidence my son has because of your care and effort will positively impact him for years, and his happiness is our happiness. Thank you for caring Thank you for sharing your art with us. "Staying on the yacht was an unbelievably relaxing, beautiful, luxurious experience that I can not recommend highly enough! The crew are warm and hospitable. The crew reached out ahead of time to help personalize our trip to our specifications - learning food preferences to ensure an enticing menu and preferred activities & destinations we’d like to prioritize. The captain is a great leader making sure all aboard are always safe and well-cared for. The chef is an amazing chef (I still dream about some of those meals!) and if we seemed bored after sundown she provided great entertainment with games and karaoke. The boat is spacious both above and below deck. As one of the girls on the trip put it, she felt like we were Kardashians - it’s that next level of luxury that you see on MTV Cribs. Above deck it has at least five distinct areas where you can layout, suntan, read, etc. Even though I was on a boat I was able on more than one occasion to sneak away to one of these spots and get some alone time. The yacht has a surround sound bluetooth speaker system throughout the boat so you can listen to your favorite music both above and below deck and control it from your phone. It comfortably seats 10 for meals, eating outside in the beautiful fresh air. Inside the cabin there is a media room with a large flat screen TV and dvd collection. There is a large comfortable table (like a giant booth) that probably sits over 6, and a bar area. Plus 4 surprisingly large bedrooms, each with their own bathroom, tons of storage and large beds (I’m pretty sure we had a queen). Also, the yacht comes equipped with just about any water activities you could think of - snorkeling gear, paddle boarding, kayaking, tubing, fishing, and water skis are all included. Our time was beautiful and magical. We saw gorgeous beaches where the sand was so powdery soft it felt like flour, saw the world-famous Baths, snorkeled in the middle of the ocean were we saw sea turtles and schools of fish from every color of the rainbow, swam in caves, and bar hopped at some really fun places (including a docked boat that is a bar/restaurant). But aside from how beautiful and relaxing this vacation was, one of the best perks for me was that I didn’t have to plan a thing. For me, one of the most stressful parts of vacationing is the logistics - on what days we’ll do what activities and how we’ll get from point A to B. The crew are like your own personal travel agents and take all of that stress off your hands. You just let them know the types of things you’d like to do/see on your trip and where you’d like to visit and they’ll do the hard part. Though you might get sticker shock at the price keep in mind this includes room and board for up to 8 people, three delectable meals a day plus snacks, unlimited alcohol (beer, wine, liquor - The chef makes a mean mudslide), unlimited water sports, transportation between islands, and living in the lap of luxury while you sail on the perfectly aqua water and see & experience some of the most beautiful islands, great snorkeling, and relaxing Island lifestyle. You’ll never want to say bye."

From the amazing meals, to the beautiful table settings, and the smooth sailing; every detail was executed with perfection! It was such a fabulous trip!!! Thank you for showing us the best of Sint Martin and St. Barth’s – true paradise and an escape from the world’s problems and COVID concerns. Our floating safe bubble was the perfect escape we needed. The locations were wonderful but the true highlight was the crew! We love you Shane, Erin and Rowan! Your warm hospitality and exemplary service was so appreciated! Jayde, Ana, Brand,Hope ‘Ya’ll” are all having a great week. 22 degrees here this morning and a little snow on the deck ! Just wanted to thank you guys again for an amazing week at sea. Words cannot describe the experience you provided us. This was truly a “No Worries” trip for us. Once we boarded Seahome, everything was done for us. We did not have to worry about transportation, food, drink, entertainment, what to do, what to see, which beach bar to visit. Typically as we are enjoying one experience my thoughts are on how do we get to the next. This trip we did nothing but enjoy each moment knowing that you guys had our next experience already lined up !! We do realize how much work and planning you put in to make this possible. Since we did nothing means you guys did a tremendous amount of work and for that we are truly grateful. Every detail was perfect. Seahome the boat, the places we stopped, the beach bars we visited, the variety of cocktails, the attitude of you guys always smiling and happy, and even the condition of the sea. AND of course the food. Every meal was over the top !! A gourmet dish at every sit down. We all agreed that those were some of the best dishes we had ever experienced !! A special thanks for Pam. She typically cannot eat on vacation but, for the first time, you allowed her to actually enjoy dining with the rest of us. You have now set the bar at a new level for us ! The three of you are second to none! Thank you for a “one of a kind” and unforgettable trip. Food and drinks were fabulous! And special thanks to Brand for all the dive, loved seeing all the fish! Brand grew up in Middelburg, a small country town in South Africa. The beautiful region, dotted with lakes, and a dad who took his sons hiking, camping, boating and fishing, inspired Brand’s love for the mountains and exploring the outdoors. The hobie cat he commanded as a small boy ignited his passion for sailing.
It is no surprise that Brand ultimately steered a course away from the corporate world toward a career that combines his love for sailing, diving entertaining, meeting new people and exploring. He has sailed thousands of miles worldwide and has been a charter yacht captain in the British and U.S. Virgin Islands for the last four years.
While Brand knows how to host a discreet charter, he most enjoys an interactive charter. He says, “I have a few secret spots where I love to take my guests for a sundowner drink with some bubbly and I also love to show my guests the underwater world while snorkeling or diving.” Simply put, Brand eagerly shares the best of everything, above and below the waterline.
Brand has the sort of easy going personality that makes everyone feel comfortable. He’s a patient instructor and his enthusiasm can be contagious. Don’t be surprised if you’re trimming the sails, or spontaneously attempting to free dive or kiteboard with him, he inspires confidence. His goal is to make every day of every charter the most remarkable. His repeat charter guests will tell you he succeeds.
Brand and his partner, Jayde have been living and chartering in the Virgin Islands. They are both qualified Captains, Brand is certified RYA Offshore and Jayde is an RYA Coastal Skipper. In addition to skilled seamanship, this charming team is fun, energetic and intelligent, exactly what it takes to run a successful charter yacht. Impeccable reviews testify to their popularity and professionalism. They are non smokers, immaculate organizers and passionate about sailing.
Louise grew up in Mt. Gretna, Pennsylvania, a truly small town (population of 197) surrounded by pastures, fields and woods. She and her three sisters were sports enthusiasts and enjoyed the great outdoors as their playground. They also taught special needs athletes and assisted their father who started and coached the Special Olympics soccer team. Every year the family vacationed on the eastern seaboard. It was a great adventure. They never visited the same spot twice. Visiting new places, meeting new people, and experiencing new things became Louise’s lifelong passion.
In 2009, Louise graduated from the Baltimore School of Massage and made the exciting move from land-locked Pennsylvania to the sandy shores of the Virgin Islands.
She recalls: “Never did I think I would work on boats until my first power boat excursion to the British Virgin Islands. I was nothing but smiles, felt extremely blessed, and made it my goal to work on the water.”
Louise is very good-natured, makes friends easily, enjoys a good joke and a sundowner now and then. She is a wonderful companion for charter guests who want to hike, snorkel, scuba dive, or have an adventure. Anegada is her favorite destination on a charter itinerary. Here locals surround the yacht to sing out their lobster recipes, white sand beach wraps the entire island, the reef is spectacular, and the ways to have fun are infinite.
Jayde is the sort of effervescent personality that never has a bad mood. The glass is always full of something wonderful. She is an intrepid adventurer who seeks out the new and exciting; exploring new places, meeting new people and learning new skills. In addition to being an excellent chef and a certified captain, she’s a scuba diver, horse rider and kite boarder. Guests aboard Seahome always compliment her cuisine as well as her ability to anticipate guests and provide for guests needs.
Jayde grew up on a farm in South Africa, surrounded by all sorts of animals amidst the beauty of nature. While the childhood setting was idyllic, it was the two months she spent every year on the seashore with her grandmother that inspired both her cooking and her wanderlust. Her most cherished memories are of time spent in Grandmas kitchen, learning cooking tips and tricks and family recipes.
Jayde says: “My favorite style of cooking is fresh, healthy and hearty meals; because that’s the way I like to eat.” Guests will tell you she adds those special gourmet touches that make her food delicious. She also excels at special diets and special requests. Even when Jayde is not in the galley whipping up something delightful, she is likely planning something special, an activity or experience, that will be a highlight for guests to remember long after their charter.
